Photography
In the last few years, I have become somewhat of a shutterbug. Even though I was never really into photography, I was rather intrigued by this art form. Photography has taken hold of my life, and I love to see what a captured moment looks like. It’s like time, but frozen, and on-screen. I suppose that’s the real joy behind photography.
I’m no professional photographer, at least, not by normal standards. I tend to think of myself as more of an amateur. It would be pretty cool to have some of work used in a print publication or on the web somewhere, but I’m pretty content with being able to post up my photos on Flickr and have people enjoy them. Sounds naive I know, but photography is a very personal thing, something that don’t share with just anyone. It is like all other art forms, to be scrutinized and appreciated.

The main weapon in my arsenal is the Nikon D70S Digital SLR. To achieve some of the effects you can see on these shots, I switch between a number of lenses, my most favorite being the Nikon AF 50/1.4D. The level of detail this lens brings is nothing less than stellar.
