Now Gainfully Employed
Yes, you read it right. I have found a job.
I have acquired a contractor position as a web designer for mindblossom, a creative agency. The best part about my new-found employ is that I get to play with all the cool technology, like XHTML and CSS, and can start putting to use the knowledge I have gained in the past year about web standards. I am also looking forward to incorporating AJAX into upcoming projects.
I am absolutely thrilled with this job. The people are wonderful, the work environment is friendly, and the challenges are plentiful.
So… 13 days into 2007, and one goal has been met. In the words of Borat Sagdiyev: “Great success!”

Congrats, I hope it goes well.
Are you going to be starting with thier website? Its currently a lfash based system which is not very accsessible. although Flash can be made accsessible maybe it would be a good start making a XHTML / CSS version of thier site?
I hope it goes well, did you know 13 is a prime number, lucky for some unlucky for others!
Only time will tell regarding their website. However, I agree, an XHTML/CSS version of their site would be way cool and alot of fun to build, no doubt!
But, right now, I’d like to bask in the good feelings I have about my new employ. I look forward to every day at my new job, something I haven’t felt before about any job that I’ve had. I hope this will continue for a long time.
