People to watch? Mike Huckabee, he’s had a good few weeks, and this is his first debate. Giuliani, for hiding the money spent on protecting his girlfriend in the Hamptons and his ex-wife in California. At the same time. Why hide it? Get it out.

Governor of Florida, Charles Frist, calls this debate the “future of America… built on integrity, honor, duty and loyalty.” Interesting choice of words from a Republican.

Question for Rudy Giuliani. Will you continue to aid and abet the flight of illegal immigrants into this country? Answer: We will deploy a fence, create a border stat system similar to the compstat system we created in New York City, we will stop people from coming in by introducing legislation, and by introducing a tamper proof ID card.

Question: Will you pledge tonight if elected to veto and immigration bill that involves amnesty for those that come here illegally?
Fred Thompson: Yes. A nation that cannot defend its border cannot remain a sovereign nation.
